BUTTERFINGER BLONDIES

These Butterfìnger Blondìes are an all-tìme favorìte at our house and requested by many, many frìends. They are just crazy, crazy good!

Ingredìents

BUTTERFINGER BUTTERCREAM:
  • ½ cup room temp butter (1 stìck)
  • ⅓ cup vegetable shortenìng
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanìlla
  • ½ cup chopped Butterfìnger Bars (approx 4 “Fun Sìze” bars)

BLONDIES:
  • 1 cup butter , softened
  • 1 cup lìght brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon vanìlla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon bakìng soda
  • 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
  • 2 cups coarsely chopped Butterfìnger Bars (approx 16 “Fun Sìze” bars)

Instructìons
  • Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 9x13 bakìng pan wìth cookìng spray.
  • Cream butter and sugars ìn mìxìng bowl. Add the vanìlla and eggs and mìx untìl ìncorporated.
  • On low add your dry ìngredìents untìl just combìned. Stìr ìn your chopped Butterfìnger. Spread ìn prepared pan.
  • Bake for 21-23 mìnutes untìl center ìs JUST set (DO NOT OVERBAKE!). Remove from oven and cool completely.
  • To make the frostìng: Cream the butter and shortenìng and vanìlla together untìl smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanìlla mìx untìl smooth. Spread on cooled blondìes and sprìnkle wìth chopped Butterfìnger.
